  2. The files in this directory are called "runtime modules". These are files
  3. which contain common code which are required by some programs. By having
  4. the common code in a runtime module, individual programs can be made smaller.
  5.  
  6. You do not have to bother with these files unless a program says that it
  7. requires one of them. The program's documentation will normally tell you
  8. which runtime module is needed and where on your hard disk to put it.
  9.  
  10. To install one of these files, type \GO at the DOS prompt while in the
  11. \RUNTIMES directory, move the cursor to highlight the file to install, then
  12. press I and enter the drive and directory for Windows (or other directory
  13. if desired). Press ESC to exit the \GO program.
